The United States Mint will be releasing the 2019 America The Beautiful Quarters in a handsome 10-coin set in October. The set, an annual offering from the United States Mint, includes five business-strike quarters from each the Philadelphia and Denver Mints.
The quarters, sold in uncirculated condition, honor Lowell National Historical Park in Massachusetts, American Memorial Park in the Northern Mariana Islands, War in the Pacific National Historical Park in Guam, San Antonio Missions National Historical Park in Texas, and Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness in Idaho. These are the 46th through 50th coins of the America The Beautiful Quarters program, which includes a total of 56 different quarters to be released through 2021.
While the set will include the P-mintmark quarters from the Philadelphia Mint and D-mintmark quarters hailing from Denver, this set will not include the coveted W-mintmark from the West Point Mint. Holding true to its word, the United States Mint has said the W-mint quarters will not be made available in coin sets and can only be found in circulation.
The United States Mint’s 10-coins America The Beautiful Quarters 2019 Circulating Coin Set will be released for sale on October 9, 2019, at noon Eastern Time. The issue price will be $8.95, making it one of the most affordable U.S. Mint products offered for sale in 2019.
